The Power of Produce (POP) Club is a farmers market-based children’s program that seeks to teach children about fruits/veggies, local food systems, and healthy food preparation through fun activities & seasonal recipes!
Fun weekly activities range from cooking demos to farmers market scavenger hunts focused on nutrition, food, agriculture, and exercise education.
This program works with farmers, community organizations, community members, restaurants, and more! Each week, children can participate in the Two-Bite Club by trying new produce in various preparations, get stamps on their POP Passports, and receive $2 in POP Bucks to spend at the market.
